Updating Testing Notes

You can keep a record of testing notes related to a mapping specification and specify test results as:

  • Un-specified
  • Pass
  • Fail
  • Needs analysis

To update testing notes, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Application Menu > Data Catalog > Mapping Manager.
  2. Under the Workspace Mappings pane, click the required map.

    3. At the bottom of the central pane, you can locate the Additional Mapping Information pane.

  3. Expand the Additional Mapping Information pane.
  4. Click the Testing Notes tab.
  5. Click .
  6. Click the appropriate option for test results and enter Testing Notes.

    7. For example:

    • Test results - Pass
    • Testing Notes - The mapping specification passed the testing and it is ready for the ETL process.
  7. Click .

    8. The Testing Notes are updated.
